SINGLE THREAD: 1.5 Thread Chamfer For maximum thread length in blind holes due to its short chamfer
BOTTOM: 2.5 Thread Chamfer For blind hole tapping
PLUG: 4.0 Thread Chamfer For through hole tapping

THREAD FORMING:
Taps have no flutes or cutting edges & provide chipless tapping
LUBE GROOVES: For lubrication & venting in blind holes (sizes M3.5 and larger)
MATERIALS: brass, copper, lead, stainless steels, carbon steels, zinc, most ductile materials producing stringy chips are great for forming
